Since May 2021, there have been 5 kW solar panels on the roof of Atarbekyan. This is half of what we estimated we would need. Energy costs remain a major issue for us, and we are happy that we can use the amount of energy we generate in the summer for heating during the winter. Especially around Christmas 2020, many donations came in, which we are now investing in this way.
In our view, it is a somewhat adventurous way of installation, but this is how it is done throughout the city.
Large companies like KLM and Shell offer their customers the opportunity to offset their CO2 footprint caused by flying and driving. We can do that too, but much better, because we have almost no overhead costs. We offer you the opportunity to offset your CO2 emissions with us. Every euro you transfer to us as CO2 compensation will go directly toward a future solar panel on our roof. Think of it as €2.50 per tank refill and 5% of the ticket price for flights. If you transfer this money, please mention “CO2 compensation.”
